Accentuate the Positive

As an educator and therapist I have always advocated accentuating the positive in a child's and patient's behavior.  This involves essentially reinforcing positive behavior and not responding to, even ignoring negative behavior.  As this translates into my personal life I try to recognize and appreciate good and kind deed and if the same person does something I do not think is good, perhaps try to let it go.  We should not burden ourselves with the thoughtless or unkind acts of others.  If we don't hold on to them they may well not reoccur at a later date.  Our children, clients, friends etc. are given a chance to rethink their behavior and perhaps even eliminate it.
Now if I could only have the same approach to George Bush and his crowd.

My Restless Heart

Lately my restless heart has been speaking to me at night. Is that when most heart attacks happen? I seem to feel an arrhthmia, which I have, as well as fibrulation and taccacardia, which I do not know if I have. My sleep is sporatic and insufficient. I have to cut out coffee entirely. Yesterday I shared a cup of leaded mixed with unleaded with Leon. A big nono for me.

Also in my thoughts is a friend in the hospital trying to have his tacccardia reversed. I worry about him (and me). I have dreamt about driving, being preoccupied by these thoughts and being pulled over by the police. I prepare my defense. Could I get leniency because I'm a good citizen? I drive a Prius. I get up before this is resolved.

What to do? What about Phenytoin? I just read a book by Jack Dreyfus (1975) saying that it cures everything including heart disease. Certainly I must stay away from coffee and caffeine in any form, even chocolate. Find a good cardiologist to get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan and finally, clear up the dining room table, my metaphor for getting my life in order.
This is a repeat of an earlier post. Today I'm going to find a cardiologist.
