I have a friend who needed to go to court the day of the funeral in order to be able to get back to work. He was running out of leave time and 6/11 was his last pay day. Now he has had a postponement for 2 weeks. He will lose his pay as well as have his job in serious jeopardy. This does not seem to be a fair outcome of this event. I'm sure there are many more stories like this one.
