I got a call yesterday from Howard Citrenbaum of the MTA. He was following up on my complaint about a rude bus driver who would not shut his engine at a layover and was rude besides. Mr. C. wanted to verify the identity of the driver and would be disciplining him. This should send a message to other drivers that disobeying the law and that being disrespectful to a citizen, even if she is old and grey, is a costly act. Let's aim for civility as well as clean air.
