Saw a very moving film yesterday, Motorcycle Diaries which told the true story of Che Guevera traveling through South America in 1952 and witnessing discrimination, hardship, poverty and severe illness among the indigenous peoples of the continent. So much injustice. This experience saddens and moves him to become a revolutinary.

And just coincidentally today we saw an exhibit at the Metropolitan Museum of Art entitled The Colonial Andes about the history and extraordinary art of the Incas before, during and after their conquest by the Spaniards and conversion to Catholicism.
