My Restless Heart
Lately my restless heart has been speaking to me at night. Is that when most heart attacks happen? I seem to feel an arrhthmia, which I have, as well as fibrillation and tachycardia, which I do not know if I have. My sleep is sporatic and insufficient. I have to cut out coffee entirely. Yesterday I shared a cup of leaded mixed with unleaded with Leon. A big nono for me.
Also in my thoughts is a friend in the hospital trying to have his tachycardia reversed. I worry about him (and me). I have dreamt about driving, being preoccupied by these thoughts and being pulled over by the police. I prepare my defense. Could I get leniency because I'm a good citizen? I drive a Prius. I get up before this is resolved.
What to do? What about Phenytoin? I just read a book by Jack Dreyfus (1975) saying that it cures everything including heart disease. Certainly I must stay away from coffee and caffeine in any form, even chocolate. Find a good cardiologist to get a proper diagnosis and treatment plan and finally, clear up the dining room table, my metaphor for getting my life in order.
