Simplifying Life

I once took an on line course with the ToDo Institute entitled Simplifying Your Life. I found it interesting and learned mostly that I had too many possessions. I tried to dispose of some things but was unsuccessful. I have however cut back on adding to my hoard and resisted buying somewhat. During the month of July I was on vacation and had to live with a limited amount of things. Life was indeed simpler. My wardrobe was minimal and very coordinated so that I did not have many choices of what to wear. I had detergent with me and hand washed things daily. My vitamins, cosmetics and toiletries were just what I needed, not more or less. There was no clutter and life was much simpler than it is at home. So I resolve to reduce the clutter. Starting with my desk where there now at least 10 things that should not be there at this time. I will begin to pare down and dispose of things now and report regularly on my progress to those who happen to be within earshot and myself.
