There seems to be a standoff. I have a Republican friend to whom I foolishly sent some anti Bush photographs. This was a mistake. He became incensed and sent me a scathing reply. I suppose I'd have had the same reaction if I'd received a similar communication about Kerry. So where are we? Very far apart and each totally unsympathetic with the other person's view on the up coming election. My inclination is to sever my relationship with this individual. I certainly cannot take his hospitality in the near future. Do I even want to fraternize with him? Is there a way to change the politics and vote of those with an opposing point of view? I believe that the outcome of the November election will strongly influence the the future of the United States and the world. Our freedoms and environment are very much at risk. What can we do to achieve a favorable outcome?
