We seem to have solved the problem on 39th Avenue in Downtown Flushing. This morning all 5 buses parked had their engines off. This is great. However we decided to check out another layover site in Queens outside Ft. Totten. Last evening at 8:05 the Q 13 had it's engine on while the driver was reading his newspaper. So I reported this the Department of Environmental Protection of NY. I also wrote the Queens Tribune to try to get some help with monitoring these sites on the streets as well as in bus terminals.
